With the unveiling of Indiana Jones: Den of Destiny at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers meet and greet experience has been relocated. Previously, Chip and Dale interacted with visitors in their iconic Rescue Rangers attire within a covered area that used to be part of the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost store.
The store, which shut down in March 2020 and remained closed, has transformed into the temporary Indiana Jones: Den of Destiny bar. This pop-up bar showcases props from “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” and is situated near Echo Lake, in close proximity to the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular.
As a result of this change, the Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers meet and greet location has shifted. Now, visitors can find Chip and Dale at the former FastPass+ distribution area adjacent to the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. This new spot is also covered, ensuring guests can wait in the shade.
The Indiana Jones: Den of Destiny bar is expected to operate until August 15. After that, Chip and Dale might return to the original store for their meet and greet sessions.
The meet and greet encounters with Chip and Dale are ongoing, starting at 10:15 a.m. daily and recurring every half hour until their final appearance at 5:15 p.m.
Although the “Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers” TV series had a brief run from 1989 to 1990, the characters’ popularity endures. Last year, a movie in the style of “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” was released, but it didn’t receive the same critical acclaim as the original series. Nevertheless, Chip and Dale remain beloved figures among park visitors.
