A new video highlights Sailor Mercury and Jupiter in the Sailor Moon Cosmos Film.

The highly anticipated finale of the iconic anime series, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos, is set to release in two parts in Japan on June 9 and June 30, 2023, respectively. As the concluding chapter of the Sailor Moon anime, the movie will adapt the final arc of the beloved manga series created by Naoko Takeuchi.

To drum up excitement for the upcoming film, a short video showcasing Sailor Mercury and Sailor Jupiter has been released. This video is the second in a series of character-focused promos, with the first video featuring Sailor Moon herself.

The voice cast from the original anime series will be returning for the film, with Kotono Mitsuishi reprising her role as Sailor Moon, Hisako Kanemoto as Sailor Mercury, and Rina Sato as Sailor Mars, among others. Fans of the Sailor Moon franchise will be pleased to hear that the original voice actors will be back to bring the characters to life on the big screen once again.

For those unfamiliar with the franchise, the Sailor Moon series follows the adventures of a clumsy high school student named Usagi Tsukino, who befriends a talking black cat named Luna. Together, they discover Usagi’s true identity as the reincarnated Princess Serenity of the Moon Kingdom and her role as the leader of the Sailor Senshi, a group of magical girls who protect the world from evil forces.

Naoko Takeuchi’s manga series began in December 1991 and quickly became a cultural phenomenon in Japan and around the world. The original anime adaptation followed a year later in 1992 and helped to further popularize the franchise.
