Dragon Ball Z Kai” to air on Cartoon Network from April 16

Fans of the Dragon Ball franchise are in for a treat as Cartoon Network is set to premiere Dragon Ball Z Kai in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam starting from April 16. The show is a remastered version of the original Dragon Ball Z series with a new and stylized approach to storytelling. Viewers can expect to see Goku and his allies as they defend the Earth from a range of villains, and witness thrilling action sequences and heart-warming moments.

The show starts with Goku’s son Gohan falling into a ravine, putting his life in danger. To save him, Goku embarks on a journey to another planet to retrieve the mystical Dragon Balls. Along the way, he and his friends encounter the fierce Saiyan race and other bizarre and comical characters. The show’s engaging storyline, high-energy dubs, vibrant animation, and relatable characters are sure to excite audiences.

According to Uttam Pal Singh, the Head of Kids Cluster, South Asia, Warner Bros. Discovery, “After the spectacular success of ‘Dragon Ball Super’ and ‘Digimon Adventure:’, and a great response from the audience, we are ready to cheer Otaku fans with another anime phenomenon, ‘Dragon Ball Z Kai’.” He further added, “Moreover, apart from expanding our anime line-up, we are pleased to invite more fans to join the Cartoon Network community with the ‘Dragon Ball Z Kai’ premiere in five local languages, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.”

To make the premiere even more exciting for fans, Cartoon Network has planned several activities for its social media channels. Fans can participate in a ‘Watch and Win’ trivia contest starting from April 16 for a chance to win special rewards. Additionally, the network has announced a ‘Selfie Contest’ as part of the premiere campaign, where fans can showcase their love for the Dragon Ball Z Kai series and win memorable figurines of their favorite characters.

The voiceover artists who will be lending their voices to the main characters for the Hindi version include Ankur Javeri for Goku, Prasad Barve for Vegeta, Shailendra Pandey for Piccolo, Neshma for Chichi, Mayur Vyas for Krillin, Mani Puhan for Bulma, and Shruti Sinha for Gohan.

The excitement doesn’t end there as every Sunday starting from April 16 will be a ‘Super Sunday’ for fans. Viewers can tune in to Cartoon Network at 1 PM to catch the iconic series ‘Dragon Ball Z Kai’ in action. The premiere promises to bring back the action-packed storyline, colorful characters, and exciting scenes that fans of the franchise have come to love.
