Dragon Balls confirmed to create Gods of Destruction

In Dragon Ball Super, the concept of Gods of Destruction is introduced with Lord Beerus, the God of Destruction of Universe 7. Along with his attendant, Whis, Beerus is responsible for maintaining the balance of the universe by destroying planets and civilizations that threaten it. Beerus is also depicted as being immensely powerful, with his mere presence being enough to make other characters tremble in fear.

Later in the series, more Gods of Destruction are introduced, each one being assigned to a different universe. While they share the same purpose as Beerus, each God of Destruction has their own unique personality and characteristics. For example, Champa, the God of Destruction of Universe 6, is portrayed as being lazy and gluttonous, in contrast to Beerus’ more stoic and serious demeanor.

It’s worth noting that the power of the Gods of Destruction is not absolute, as they can be challenged and defeated by other powerful beings. In fact, the events of Dragon Ball Super revolve around the emergence of new powerful opponents, such as the multiverse-threatening villain, Zeno, and Jiren, a member of the Pride Troopers who is considered to be one of the strongest fighters in the multiverse.

In conclusion, while the Dragon Balls in Dragon Ball GT are shown to have the power to create a God of Destruction through Omega Shenron, it should be noted that this is a unique case and not representative of the wider lore of the Dragon Ball franchise.
