Dragon Ball Super unveils new booster pack featuring Android 21 SCR for collectors

The Dragon Ball Super Card Game has introduced a new collector booster called Power Absorbed Collector’s Booster that features two cards worth over $1,000. This booster pack is part of the Zenkai Series, the first Dragon Ball Super Card Game set of 2023, and the third expansion in the Zenkai Series. The Zenkai Series kicked off in September 2022, and it introduced Z-Cards, as well as a new holo pattern for Super Rares, Special Rares, and Secret Rares.

The Power Absorbed Collector’s Booster is the twentieth main set of the Dragon Ball Super Card Game and features several strong themes, including the debut appearance of Saiyan Cumber in the Prison Planet Saga-focused Black-section. It also includes sections of cards based on the Super 17 Saga, Krillin and Android 18’s family, the Tournament of Power, and the Buu Saga.

Bleeding Cool, a popular entertainment news website, will showcase cards from the Power Absorbed expansion. The collector booster contains Alternate Art versions of the cards, which are much harder to find than the regular versions.

One of the most sought-after cards in the Power Absorbed expansion is the hologram Super Saiyan 3 Goku card, which is going for the price of a God Rare. However, the chase card in the Collector’s Booster is the Android 21, Transcendent Predator SCR. This card depicts Android 21 in her transformed (evil) state after absorbing Cell. The standard version of this card is the most desired hit in Power Absorbed, but it is the Collector’s Booster Alternate Art version that is going for over $1,000.
