“Fire Force” gets a new stage play in September in Tokyo and Kyoto

The announcement of the third stage play adaptation of the popular manga series “Fire Force” by Atsushi Ohkubo has set fans of the series ablaze with excitement. Titled “Recapture from the Underground”, the stage play is set to run from September 17 to September 25 at the Sunshine Theater in Tokyo, followed by a run from September 29 to October 2 at the Kyoto Theater. The third installment of the stage play adaptation is sure to ignite the embers of the beloved manga series and bring it to life on stage for fans.

Along with the announcement of the upcoming stage play, a fierce teaser visual was also released to further fuel the excitement of fans. In addition, the cast list for the play has also been revealed, with Ryoga Ishikawa taking on the role of protagonist Shinra Kuskabe. For those who are not familiar with “Fire Force”, the series follows the story of Shinra, a young boy with the unique ability to control flames with his feet. The city of Tokyo is plagued by spontaneous human combustion, and the Fire Force is tasked with putting out these fires and saving the people affected by them. Shinra joins Company 8, a special firefighting team made up of individuals with unique abilities, to help save the city and uncover the truth behind the mysterious fire incidents.
