SAILOR MOON COSMOS Anime Teams Up with NAMCO Arcade Games

“SAILOR MOON COSMOS Anime Collaborates with NAMCO Arcade Games”

In anticipation of the upcoming Sailor Moon Cosmos anime films, the franchise has announced a collaboration with Namco arcade games. As part of this partnership, limited-edition prizes featuring the Sailor Moon characters will be available at arcades.

The Sailor Guardians will face their toughest challenge yet in the Sailor Moon Cosmos anime movie. However, before their epic battle, they are taking a break to relax and enjoy some downtime.

Namco, known for its entertainment facilities, is teaming up with the popular Sailor Moon series to create a special line of merchandise to commemorate the release of the latest addition to the franchise. These exclusive items, including cushions, plush keychains, and acrylic stands featuring new artwork, will be offered as prizes in crane games and other entertainment activities at Namco arcades.

The collaboration will be available at Namco arcades starting from June 9, coinciding with the premiere of the first film, until July 17, which marks the premiere of the second film.

The Sailor Moon Cosmos crossover event is directed by Tomoya Takahashi, known for his work on Gatchaman Crowds, and is produced by Toei Animation and Studio Deen. The story is written by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, who previously worked on That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, while the character designs are done by Kazuko Tadano, who worked on the first two seasons of Sailor Moon. The film’s soundtrack is composed by Yasuharu Takanashi, known for his work on Sailor Moon Crystal, and the art direction is handled by Yumiko Kuga from Studio Jack.

The Sailor Moon Cosmos films adapt the “final battle” from Naoko Takeuchi’s original manga series. This final battle was previously depicted in the Sailor Moon Sailor Stars arc of the original anime. The first film of the Cosmos franchise premiered on June 9, with the second part scheduled to be released on June 30.

Sailor Moon Eternal, a two-part film released in early 2021 in Japan and available on Netflix worldwide since June 3, continues the story from the Sailor Moon Crystal TV anime series, which can be streamed on Crunchyroll.
