Avatar: The Last Airbender movie excites the show creator

Avatar: The Last Airbender, the beloved animated series that aired from 2005 to 2008, has been making waves again in recent years. He emphasized that as an artist, he finds the prospect of working on a feature film alluring, as it allows for more time to refine and perfect the artwork and animation.

Konietzko has cited Hayao Miyazaki, the founder of Studio Ghibli, as an inspiration. Studio Ghibli is known for its breathtakingly beautiful animation, and Avatar Studios has adopted one of its policies, which states that everything at the studio, even if it is later rendered in 3D, “has to start as a handmade piece of art.”
